The Travelodge is part of a wider leisure development in Southend. Situated in close proximity to Marine Parade and the famous Southend Pier, the site has a high public profile which required the highest level of professional design management, in order to satisfy the ambitions of all stakeholders involved.
The 80-bed Hotel has a typical Travelodge layout which consists of an entrance/ café area at ground floor, with the different bedroom types above, all of which is supported by associated parking, servicing and ancillary areas. A separate retail unit at ground floor which is part of the Travelodge footprint will help serve the wider community.
