The Travelodge is part of a major leisure complex in Colchester (Colchester Northern Gateway). Situated on the edge of the city, the site has a high profile which required the highest level of professional design management, in order to satisfy the ambitions of all stakeholders involved.

The 90-bed Hotel has a typical Travelodge layout however the curved nature of the plan provides technical and design management skills to ensure its high quality finish. The layout consists of an entrance/ café area and bedrooms at ground floor, with the different bedroom types above, all of which is supported by associated parking, servicing and ancillary areas.
